Brazil is an excellent option for families who may wish to adopt one older child, a special needs child of any age or a sibling group of any age. Large sibling groups are frequently available for international adoption, and there is a fundamental need for families to adopt who can keep siblings together. Hand In Hand’s dedicated staff helps every step of the way and works together to ensure that adoption placements are transparent and in the best interest of each child according to The Hague Convention, Brazilian laws and U.S. laws.
Brazil currently offers two programs:
Families hoping to adopt a relative, meaning a child who is a member of your extended family, who still reside in Brazil.
Families wishing to adopt a child from an orphanage, which in Brazil is called a "children’s shelter."
Hand in Hand’s Brazil team in the U.S. and in country offer an unparalleled experience, having worked together since the program’s inception. We invite you to explore the idea of adopting a child of sibling set from the beautiful country of Brazil!
